Requirements:
Masters degree in behavioral health required, licensure eligibility required.
One (1) year work experience preferred, behavioral health internship required.
Description:
The purpose of the Child Day Treatment Specialist position is to provide behavioral management, clinical therapy support services and emergency services to consumers and their families; to participate in team staffing and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team; to provide community education services as needed; demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the consumer served; demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to access data reflective of the consumer’s status in an effort to interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each consumer’s requirements relative to their age specific needs; and to provide the care needed as required by DMH and PMBHR standards.
